Spending the weekend with Mimi and Pop

 Drex spent the whole weekend with me and Pop! His mama and daddy and nana were moving. This is the first time Nikki has moved that I haven't helped and I felt bad but I did get to keep the baby!!

We chewed on our toes.....

 Learned how to get out of our swing and felt good about it!

I went from the living room to kitchen then RIGHT BACK to the living room and this is how I found him. He was very proud.

 Saturday it was in the 70s and we hung out on the swing on the back porch. Oh the conversations we had! He's such  happy and funny little boy.

This was taken today (Feb 1) He was looking out mamas window at the tree over my head. He kept giving me sugar...ok sometimes he was frustrated and tried to bite. Lord help us.

Another memory in the making..........little shoe

I just put Drex on the couch, he's smelling all babyish and sleeping. As I was walking back to my chair I noticed his little shoe beside my old raggedy house shoes. I know one day more than likely his feet will be bigger than mine. I know that day will be here before I know it..... So I will cherish his little shoe beside my raggedy old house shoe before it turns into a big shoe.

Sunday school class

Drex usually stays in my class during Sunday school. My cousin Sam loves him up. This is Drex and Sam's youngest son CJ. They are 3rd cousins and pretty good buddies.
In the one pic where CJ is grinning real big Drex was trying to get my phone, you can see him reaching for it. He likes to hold it and call strangers and TRY to eat it. I tell him noooo and he moves it away from his mouth....for about 10 seconds then it goes right back.

He's not crawling yet but he can get around really good by rolling every where. I found him half way under my couch eating the fuzz off the bottom of the couch. He also was very angry at the entertainment center when he rolled against it and it wouldn't get out of his way.

He's a super sweet baby that hardly ever cries except when he wants to eat and he melts my heart when I walk in the room and he smiles and raises his little arms for me to pick him up.
